Adrian Collaborative Celebrating a Year of New Beginnings

We are excited to launch more of our new web site! Visit this media page often as we update twitter feeds, facebook posts, press releases, calendar events, and blog posts. To introduce our blogs, I wanted to thank all of our teaming partners and clients for being a part of our first year of success. Starting a business is never easy; even more so during an economic downturn. Through all the challenges, we are grateful for the encouragement of friends and clients who have believed in our vision. Since organizing as an official firm during the summer of 2011, Adrian Collaborative has reached important milestones in our vision: first sustainable transportation project, first training course, first signed NEPA document, and approvals by Georgia DOT of our prequalifications, accounting system, and DBE certification. Capping off this past year, we just learned of our selection as lead subconsultant for the HNTB team to provide statewide on-call environmental services for GDOT.

Dahlonega Complete Streets Program

Adrian Collaborative is providing advisory, scheduling, and NEPA project management for a system of streetscape improvements in downtown Dahlonega. The improvements will enhance safety, aesthetics, and pedestrian connectivity for the downtown historic commercial district, the North Georgia College and State University campus, and nearby residences.

GDOT District 5

Georgia Department of Transportation District 5 Environmental Services Task Order Contract, Ecological Solutions, Inc.

Adrian Collaborative will be providing program management, NEPA documentation, quality reviews, and agency coordination for transportation improvements throughout 24 coastal and southeast Georgia counties. Todd Barker, AICP has led this contract for Ecological Solutions since the team’s selection in 2008, and he will continue his role through Adrian. Among the projects to date are:

State Route 144 Widening, Bryan County

Project management, agency cooridination, public involvement, indirect and cumulative impacts, and reader-friendly Environmental Assessment to address NEPA and regulatory permitting for a five-mile highway widening project.

State Route 40 Widening, Camden County

Project management, agency coordination, quality reviews, and NEPA documentation for 1.3-mile highway widening project near I-95.
